Entertainment Site Comparison

When viewing websites I have noticed the first sample in which we viewed in class which caught my eye.
This was the Jim Carrey website.   http://www.jimcarrey.com/
For one thing the flash took too long to load. As for the site when we look at the header, well there was none in my opinion. There is no footer on the site either. The nav bar which is not the usual place as it was placed at the bottom of the page and in white with a thin font.
There is lots of contrast for sure with all the odd artistic work, however, there is no real design format to this site.
When I go to a site such as http://www.thewolverinemovie.com/ This site also has no header or footer. The nav bar is at the bottom left with a lot of social media links on the top of the page. The background has a flash film trailer for the movie with a scroll bar to see photos.

In my sketches and wire frame you can see that in the web size I changed from one column to two. I also slightly changed the header with the images and text along with the size elements. I also changed the footer image to be consistent with the design of the header.

In the tablet the elements carried over as in the footer and header, however, in the content block I sized it down to be one column to adjust to the decreasing size chance.

For the phone, the header and the footer has stayed the same except for size change. The leaves sized down to accommodate the size change along with the header and footer. The nave bar fully changed to be under the header and in two rows with the content in a single column below it.
